You guys. I am so excited about this post.

SARAH AND ZACH ARE HAVING A BABY.

Why am I so excited? Because I like babies. And I like these wonderful people. So there's no reason for me not to be excited about a wonderful baby.

I photographed their wedding a couple of years ago (where did the time go?). While I was photographing them during their dance, I wondered if they ever wanted kids. I mean, plenty of people don't these days, and I am not one to bluntly ask a question like that. Apparently, they already knew they wanted me to photograph this special time in their lives way before their daughter Kinsley was a twinkle in their eyes. Makes me feel pretty good. When Sarah told me that they'd need some maternity photos my jaw hit the floor and I squealed with joy.

They came up to Vancouver (which was extremely appreciated since staying close to home and my girl is preferred these days) and we hit up a couple of my favorite spots. We seriously lucked out with the weather - it was blistering cold, but sunny. By the time we were finished, my fingers were numb and I could barely hit the shutter. So I can only imagine how they felt... (thank you for being troopers).

I cannot wait to meet your daughter and have play dates and all that cheesy goodness.
