Oh Em GEE y'all. Where to start with this post? I guess from the beginning is as good as any... 

I have known Lacey pretty much my entire life. I don't exactly remember the moment we met, but I also don't remember much of my life that she wasn't a part of. So many of my best childhood memories are with this person. I can honestly say she is one of the funniest people I've ever known; her antics she'd pull on the playground STILL make me laugh (running into walls and doors, anyone?). Of course as we age and life things happen, people grow apart. I moved as a kid and ended up going to a different school. Most of my friends that I had when I was younger, I didn't talk to much for a solid 6-10 years or so. Our friendship kind of did the same thing, but love was never lost. Over that time period (and even since we reconnected) we grew into very different people - our individual journeys have got to be polar opposites, I swear. But we have one thing in common - we laugh our butts off ALL THE TIME just like we did when we were kids. She just cracks me up. 

I had the privilege of photographing her engagement AND wedding photos a few years back. I always knew that whoever Lacey ended up with would be an equally hilarious individual (I was right). Revick has got to be one of the nicest dudes I've met and is also really good at making me laugh. No surprise there. I remember when taking their bridal portraits to "PLEASE WAIT AND ENJOY YOURSELVES for awhile," before having kids. Looking back I would like to kick myself in the teeth for giving unsolicited advice, but what can you do. Well guess what. THAT TIME IS HERE. And guess what else? I AM SO EXCITED. 

Baby J is going to be one loved little dude. This I am confident of. I am eagerly awaiting all of the antics these two will pull with him (eye brows on babies, maybe? baby fart videos at the least... i hope... they'll be top notch).
